Barb is a crafter of word pictures. What begins as a story filled with lighthearted laughter, somewhere turns into a window casting light on the depths of our Lord’s character, our painful struggles as we live in this world, and the hope that He offers as we walk with Him. She is able to weave together stories from years on the mission field and from everyday life in a way that helps women understand the Truth of God’s Word so that it sinks deep into the heart of who we are – and who we long to be.
The Lord has used Barb to advance His Kingdom in places as far away as West Africa and France, where she (and her family of six) served Him as missionaries for twelve years. Her cross-cultural experience, love for women, and careful dividing of God’s Word make her a dynamic and inspiring speaker. She now serves as Director of Women’s Ministries at Heritage Evangelical Free Church where she passionately disciples women in God’s Word and helps them discover the joy of seeing God work through them in Kingdom ministry.
Barb, her husband Ron, and their children (ranging from elementary school through college) live in Castle Rock.
