Michelle:  Rachel!  I think God has better things to do than get us a stray!

Michelle:  That’s Pluto.  That’s our new stray dog.
Mitch:  That’s me.  That’s on me.

Christian:  You missed my game.
Mitch:  I know.  I’m sorry.
Christian:  You’re always sorry because you’re never there.

Michelle:  Your dreams or ours?  Because my dream is a happy family and we’re not doing so well.  And you’re dream is to be a writer and you’re not doing that either.

Michelle:  I believe in you.  I do.  I just don’t believe in this version of you.  I definitely don’t believe in this version of us.

Mitch:  We’re awfully small, aren’t we?  Or maybe we’re just a part of something really big.

Michelle:  Some things take time to fix.

Michelle, about Pluto:  He was the answer to problems we didn’t know we had.

Poem by Stephen Crane –

A man said to the universe:

“Sir, I exist!”

“However,” replied the universe,

“The fact has not created in me

A sense of obligation.”

Mitch: What do you think?
Boy:  I think I’d feel a lot better if you weren’t asking 9-year-olds for directions.

Mitch:  Ok.  This is the last hill, I swear.
Boy:  I’m about to start swearing something myself.

Boy 1:  We could do mouth to mouth.
Boy 2:  Do you know how?
Boy 1:  I learned on Baywatch.

Voice (of God?): Ask in confidence.
